Forres is on the Moray Firth, which is world-renowned for its beautiful coastline, (it is one of the world’s top 20 coastlines according to National Geographic). Grant Park, the setting for the event, is a stunning natural amphitheatre, with mature trees encircling the main park and wonderful floral gardens.

Easily accessible by road, rail and air, Forres and the surrounding area offers a range of places to stay from world class hotels to camping, with a wide choice of self-catering, hotel and bed-and-breakfast accommodation.

There is so much to see and do in the area – from building sand-castles on the glorious beaches to exploring ancient castles and cliff top walks, from visiting distilleries to watching dolphins –  that taking a long weekend, if not a week, to explore the area is a must.
