Inveraray & District Pipe Band were crowned European Champions 2017 and 2018
Piping At Forres, the European Pipe Band Championships, took place in the stunning setting of Grant Park six times, the final time being on 30 June 2018.
A huge thank you to the thousands of pipers, drummers, drum majors and Highland dancers from far and wide who visited us over that six-year run at Forres. We also thank the traders who provided a stunning showcase of Scottish food and drink, craft and retail items and, of course, our many sponsors.
We also thank our volunteers. Without their commitment between 2013-2018, the event would not have been possible and for that, they deserve a special mention.
Forres Events ltd, the not-for-profit company behind Piping At Forres, has plans for the future which will be published in due course. In the meantime please come and enjoy Forres and Grant Park, and see if you can hear some echo of the sound of some 3.500 pipers and drummers playing together in the sunshine and enjoy the memories of the wonderful Piping At Forres events.
