Piping At Forres was delighted to be awarded the Moray Speyside Community Tourism award this week at the Moray Chamber of Commerce awards held as part of Moray Business Week at Gordon Castle. Ian Widdowson, Chairman of Forres Events Ltd, the organisation behind Piping At Forres said: “I am delighted to pick up this award which, as it says on the trophy, is for the community, for our dedicated and loyal volunteers and for those who support us in all ways from sponsorship, to taking a stall through to coming along the day as a spectator. I thank Moray Chamber, Moray Speyside Tourism and their sponsors for this award and I wholeheartedly thank the community of Forres and Moray for their support which has led us to winning this award.
