Attracting visitors through offering both world class piping and a range of other entertainment the European Pipe Band Championships  is an enjoyable day out for all ages.

We are very pleased to say that all of the Piping At Forres events (2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013)  have all been given over 9 out of a possible 10 for overall enjoyment in feedback surveys.

Plans are being made for a crowd of 15,000 – 20,000 people on Grant Park on Saturday 30 June 2018.  This gives an exceptional opportunity to businesses to showcase their products.

There will be two large, separate areas of stalls, a Craft and Retail Village and a Food and Drink Village. Each will have stalls within a marquee and outdoor pitches, and will be well signed and accessible to visitors and competitors. The general layout of the park will be as for 2017, with minor changes to take account of new activities.

Application for a Stall

Applications for a stall for the 2018 Championships, which can only  be made through the online application form on the website, will open in January 2018  and close on 31 March 2018. Prompt provision of documentation (insurance certificates, risk assessments etc.) is encouraged.

We will confirm which applications have been accepted as soon as possible after that.

Payment will not be required until after our confirmation of acceptance of your application, at which time we will also advise you of any Special Conditions that will apply to your agreement.

Your online form will give us  information about the Stallholder, the products being offered, the type of stall requested and confirmation of compliance with all relevant legislation and licences.  If any of these change subsequently  for any reason please let us know as promptly as possible.

We will advise you of the location of your stall on the Park and provide you details of the permitted points of ingress and egress etc in the weeks before the Event.
